Pannaway Park

Located in Portsmouth's Sherburne neighborhood, Pannaway Park is one of more than a dozen parks and playgrounds maintained by the City. The park and playground appeals to multigenerational users. There were many park elements identified during public meetings that were integrated into the design, such as multiple play structures, a softball field, a half basketball court, picnic tables, benches, and shade tree plantings, as well as an eight of a mile-long looping pathway. With these improvements, Pannaway Park is home to the only playground in the City offering second-tier access for wheelchair-bound children.
