Boston Felt Company Headquarters

The Boston Felt Company is the world's largest producer of felt material necessary for the manufacturing of pool tables, pianos, magic markers, jewelry cases, and many other products. Located on the banks of the picturesque Salmon Falls River, the site is the locale of both the company's corporate headquarters and its manufacturing facility, all of which is housed in a brick mill building. Improvements to the site were designed to accommodate a variety of uses--balancing between the need for an enhanced corporate image with the many manufacturing needs for the facility. The new design considered amenities for employee lunch breaks; visitor and employee parking; and clear and attractive signage. Ironwood created a design that met each of these needs, while also providing world-class visual aesthetics and beauty.
